Top 12 Underrated Shounen Anime 2022

The world of Shonen Anime has a lot more than Naruto, One Piece, and My Hero Academia, which are heavy hitters. Although with popular shows nothing is wrong, sometimes you want something different. Sometimes. That’s why the shonen anime is underrated.

Let’s first have a fast definition. Shonen means any boys series, usually under 15 years of age. While anyone of any age or sex can enjoy it, this is the demographic target. So you won’t see much romance as long as you see a ton of action and supernatural battles. Katekyo Hitman Reborn is a great series like this. But it’s more than just action to shonen. Some shows, such as Beck and Silver Spoon, focus on characters who strive to achieve meaningful goals beyond the fighting sphere-the creation of a band.
